Hello,
My name is Charlotte and my ambition is to become a doctor. I've set up this blog basically to show my journey to medical school. Here I'm going to show the things I do, the interests I have and basically share everything I can about my aim of getting into medical school and the journey I take to get there.
So, what am I up to?!
Well, at the moment I'm trying to recover from the crazy amount of food the I've eaten over this Christmas! At sixth form I'm taking AS levels in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and French. Funny mix?! Everyone says that! "Oh, you're into languages?" they say... Well yes, I love being able to communicate with people from foreign countries. Making conversation in another language is exciting (scary at first!) and a welcome challenge. The sciences - I find science interesting and I love the complexity of how to human body works, how you can never seem to know enough about something and theres always more to learn.
I've got AS exams in January (nervous!) in Chemistry, Biology and Maths. (Although this will be a Core 2 AS maths exam; I started AS maths early, last year in year 11 after completing GCSE maths a year early too.) Revision is going well so far and the practise papers are looking promising, so with some more decent revision I should be on target to achieve straight A's.
Well this has been a long first post, I've never written a blog before. I hope you find this one interesting and enjoy hearing about my journey to medical school.
Thanks,
Charlotte
